LAS VEGAS (2016)
In October 2016, I fled the destructive path of Hurricane Matthew and headed to Nevada for the relative safety of Las Vegas. One of the highlights of the trip was a helicopter flight from a private hangar at McCarran Airport to the western edge of the Grand Canyon. On the journey, we flew over Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. Both were spectacular from the cockpit of the ECO-Star chopper.
But my trip didn't end there. I also spent time on Fremont Street and the Vegas Strip.
