― I just signed a new option deal for THE HUNTERS movie. At this time, I'm not allowed to talk about the specifics, but I'm hoping the new investors will have the clout to get the movie back on track (pun intended).

(8/30/19)
― I added a new page to my website. It is filled with concept art for the film. You can view it here.

(9/10/18)
― After several years of pre-production, I have decided to terminate my movie option for THE HUNTERS. I still have faith that the movie will be made, but I'm not willing to extend my deal until I'm more comfortable with the financing of the film.

(6/12/17) ― I finished the screenplay for The Plantation and sent it to my film agent (Jon Cassir at CAA). Personally, I think it turned out great. Hopefully, someone with clout in Hollywood feels the same way!

(3/12/17)
― When I first signed the movie option for THE HUNTERS, I was warned that the journey would be a rollercoaster ride filled with agonizing ups and downs, and I can verify that to be true. In order to make a major motion picture, so many moving parts need to be aligned that I'm surprised any films ever get finished.

(9/9/16)
― The original option agreement for THE HUNTERS has been extended again. This means the movie is moving closer to production. Once I get an exact date, I'll post it here.

(3/29/16)
― Great news on the casting front. We added another big name to the project, and I'm thrilled to have him aboard. Unfortunately, I can't tell you who it is. Suffice it to say, he was the star of a major franchise that has made billions of dollars at the box office.

― I flew to Japan to meet with director John Moore, producer Peter Veverka, and brand manager Chris Smith. We spent several days in Tokyo and Yokohama while conducting meetings with the Nissan Corporation. Not only did we get to drive vehicles on the Nissan test track, but we also went to the Tokyo Motor Show where we met up with Shiro Nakamura (the Chief Creative Officer of Nissan), who showed us some cool concept cars that we hope to use in the movie. All in all, it was an incredible trip with incredible people, and I look forward to working with Nissan on the Hunters franchise in the years ahead.

― The original option agreement for THE HUNTERS has been extended for another twelve months. (Translation: the movie is moving closer to production.)

(5/20/15) Everett Burrell has joined the crew as the Visual Effects Supervisor. He is known for his work on A Good Day To Die Hard, Fury, and Prometheus.

(4/15/15)
― Another big-name actor has joined the cast of THE HUNTERS. Over the past decade, he has been involved with two highly successful movie franchises that have made billions of dollars at the box office. Needless to say, we're thrilled to have him on board.

(4/4/15)
― A production team for THE HUNTERS recently went on a location scouting mission in these Mi7 choppers. I can't tell you where they went, but they were quite pleased with what they found. (Jack Cobb would be thrilled with this rekky!)

― We have officially signed the first cast member of THE HUNTERS, and I am thrilled with the choice. He is a famous, award-winning actor, who everyone will know. However, we are keeping his identity a secret until the producers are ready to announce it.

(10/14/14)
Don Carmody (Chicago, Pompeii) — often called “Hollywood’s man in Canada” — has been added as a producer. This means we will probably be filming in Canada instead of Eastern Europe. This is great news for me because I know how to speak Canadian.

(7/1/14)
Reg Poerscout-Edgerton (Casino Royale, Angels & Demons) has signed on as casting director of THE HUNTERS. Over the past decade, he has worked with a plethora of Hollywood stars (Tom Hanks, Daniel Craig, Russell Crowe, Anthony Hopkins, Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, and many others.)

(5/17/14
) John Moore (Behind Enemy Lines, Die Hard 5) has signed on to direct THE HUNTERS.

(4/16/14) Film rights to THE HUNTERS have been optioned by Piers Tempest and Jo Bamford’s new UK-based production venture. Mark Huffam (Prometheus, Saving Private Ryan) and Chris Clark (Johnny English, The Guard) have joined the producing team.

― We're moving closer to production on THE HUNTERS. With any luck, we'll be on the set this winter.

In order to make a major motion picture, so many moving parts need to be aligned that I'm surprised any films ever get finished. Rest assured, we're getting closer and closer to filming THE HUNTERS, but the process has been such a grind I'm beginning to think I didn't ask for enough money when I signed my initial deal!
