MOVIE NEWS

(1/1/21)
― Although I can't mention his name, I'm allowed to announce that THE HUNTERS has a new director. He's very well known, with a long track of hits over the past few decades―including one of the top-earning adventure movies of all time. I'm pumped about his involvement, and I can't wait for production to begin.

(12/9/20)
― Great news on the movie front. I can't discuss it at this time, but a major hurdle was cleared today. Although the holidays are ahead of us, I'm hoping this project gets finalized in 2021.

(11/21/20)
― At this point in time, the only thing that is slowing down THE HUNTERS movie is the pandemic. It's tough to shoot an international movie when many borders are closed. Hopefully, things will start to clear in the coming weeks, and if it does, I'll be sure to post the news here and social media.

(6/24/20)
― Lots of positive things are going on behind the scenes, including some new personnel in key positions. As soon as I have clearance from the producers, I'll be sure to post the information here.

(5/1/20) ― For those of you who have visited my movie page over the years, you'll probably notice that I deleted about fifty events from this timeline. That's because the pandemic has forced every film in Hollywood to change their schedules and scale back production. For THE HUNTERS, I truly believe this is a good thing. Sometimes the best way to move forward is to take a few steps back.

(3/15/20) ― Thanks to the pandemic, Hollywood is temporarily closed. I'm not quite sure how this is going to affect THE HUNTERS, but my guess is that there will be significant changes in the production.

(9/2/19)
― I just signed a new option deal for THE HUNTERS. At this time, I'm not allowed to talk about the specifics, but I'm hoping new investors will have the clout to get the movie back on track (pun intended).

(8/30/19)
― I added a new page to my website. It is filled with concept art for the film. You can view it here.

(3/12/17) ― When I first signed the movie option for THE HUNTERS, I was warned that the journey would be a rollercoaster ride filled with agonizing ups and downs, and I can verify that to be true. In order to make a major motion picture, so many moving parts need to be aligned that I'm surprised any films ever get finished.

(3/29/16) ― Great news on the casting front. We added another big name to the project, and I'm thrilled to have him aboard. Unfortunately, I can't tell you who it is. Suffice it to say, he was the star of a major franchise that has made billions of dollars at the box office.

(10/29/15)
― I flew to Japan with a few members of the production team to discuss marketing for the film. We spent several days in Tokyo and Yokohama while conducting meetings with the Nissan Corporation. Not only did we get to drive vehicles on the Nissan test track, but we also went to the Tokyo Motor Show where we met up with Shiro Nakamura (the Chief Creative Officer of Nissan), who showed us some cool concept cars that we hope to use in the movie. All in all, it was an amazing trip with incredible people, and I look forward to working with Nissan on the Hunters franchise in the years ahead.

(4/15/15) ― Another big-name actor has joined the cast of THE HUNTERS. Over the past decade, he has been involved with two highly successful movie franchises that have made billions of dollars at the box office. Needless to say, we're thrilled to have him on board.

(12/21/14)
― We have officially signed the first cast member of THE HUNTERS, and I am thrilled with the choice. He is a famous, award-winning actor, who everyone will know. However, we are keeping his identity a secret until the producers are ready to announce it.

(7/19/13)
Robert Mark Kamen has agreed to write the screenplay for THE HUNTERS. One of the most successful screenwriters in Hollywood, Kamen has written The Transporter, The Karate Kid, Taken, The Fifth Element, Angel Has Fallen, and many other well known films.

(4/5/13) Film rights to THE HUNTERS have been optioned by Tempo Productions, a UK-based production company led by Piers Tempest and Jo Bamford.
